  • Yahoo E-mail Users Please Note:
  • In this modern technological day and age we expect e-mail communication to be instant. It rarely is of course, there is often a delay of a few minutes even on the best of servers. During the daytime we normally respond to any PayPal notification of purchase or other e-mail within minutes. During the evening, which is our busiest time, this might be an hour and sometimes the next morning. Usually you will get our reply within minutes of us sending it.

    However, you won't if you use Yahoo. Yahoo e-mail is not instant. Nowhere near in fact. It is the slowest for mail delivery out of any of the major free web mail providers. Whether this is because their server just can't cope, or whether they just don't care about non-Yahoo senders we don't know. The end result is the same. The Yahoo server will rarely accept e-mail on the first attempt. Our mail server makes 60 attempts (once every 10 minutes) to deliver before returning the e-mail to us as undelivered. Yahoo will usually accept after about 6 - 10 attempts. This means a delay of one to two hours and sometimes longer because their server won't do its job properly. So please, if you do not hear from us quickly, IT IS NOT OUR FAULT.

    Below is the standard message we get from our server after it has tried and failed to deliver to Yahoo. We will get this message every 10 minutes until it is delivered. Please note the bolded phrase.

    Your email has been delayed. The target mail server was either unavailable or unwilling to communicate.
    (It is not unusual for email to take several attempts to deliver to busy mail servers.)

    This notice is to simply inform you that the receiving server has not yet accepted your email to ----------@yahoo.com after 6 delivery attempt(s), but 54 more attempts will be made every 10 minutes.
    This notice is for information purposes only. If further retries are still unsuccessful, we will notify you again.

    In addition Yahoo has a habit considering all non-Yahoo e-mail to be spam irrespective of whether we are on your friends or safe list. PLEASE CHECK YOUR SPAM FOLDER FIRST.

  • Q: Why do I have to give my telephone number?
  • A: If we run into a problem getting hold of you by e-mail (which we frequently do with web-based e-mail and especially with anyone who gives a Yahoo address) we will contact you by telephone.
  • Q: Why is your shopping cart showing tax for me? I don't live in WV.
  • A: It does so automatically. WV state tax will only be charged on the payment page if you live in WV.
  • Q: Can I use a wire transfer?
  • A: No.
  • Q: Do I have to pay tax on my purchase?
  • A: If you live within the state of West Virginia (WV) in the US, then yes. We are a legally registered company and are required to charge 6% state tax to all WV residents. If you do not live in WV you will not pay state tax. Please note that international buyers are responsible for any taxes or duty that are charged by their country.
  • Q: Do you accept cash?
  • A: Yes provided it is US$. No other currency will be accepted under any circumstances. However, we do not recommend sending cash as it is not a secure method.
  • Q: Do you accept cashier's checks?
  • A: Yes, provided it is from a US bank and is payable in US$. Order completion is subject to check clearance.
  • Q: Do you accept company checks?
  • A: Yes, provided it is from a US bank and is payable in US$. Order completion is subject to check clearance.
  • Q: Do you accept credit cards?
  • A: Yes. We accept Mastercard, Discover & Visa directly and other cards through PayPal. It is not necessary to open a PayPal account to make a credit card payment.
  • Q: Do you accept e-checks?
  • A: Yes, through PayPal. Please note that these take time to clear. Once clearance has been verified by PayPal your reading will take place, or your purchase will be sent.
  • Q: Do you accept money orders?
  • A: Yes provided they are US issued and payable in US$.
  • Q: Do you accept PayPal?
  • A: Yes. We are PayPal verified.
  • Q: Do you accept personal checks?
  • A: Yes, provided it is from a US bank and is payable in US$. Order completion is subject to check clearance.
  • Q: Do you accept postal orders (non-US money orders)?
  • A: No.
  • Q: I live outside the USA. Can I pay by check/cheque?
  • A: No.
  • Q: I want to pay by check or money order. Who do I make it payable to, and where do I send it?
  • A: Please make your purchase as usual and use the checkout button or link on our web pages. You will have the option to pay by check or money order. All information needed will be supplied by the checkout system at that time. This option is only for checks and money orders that are US issued and payable in US$.
  • Q: Does the telephone psychic reading cost me anything with regard to telephone charges?
  • A: No. We pay the cost of the call.
  • Q: How long will it take to get my e-mail psychic reading?
  • A: Once we have received the requested information we will get back to you as soon as possible. Most readings are turned around the same day (unless you've bought during the evening or night time US Eastern time). In nearly all cases you will have your reading within 24 hours. The exception to this is if you have chosen our "No Question Limit" reading in which case the time taken will depend upon the number of questions you have asked.
  • Q: How long will it take to get my online psychic reading?
  • A: Once we have received the requested information we will get back to you with the earliest mutually convenient time. USA, Canada
  • Q: How long will it take to get my telephone psychic reading?
  • A: Once we have received the requested information we will get back to you with the earliest mutually convenient time. USA & Canada readings are usually scheduled within 24 hours and very often the same day. If you live outside these areas it will be scheduled at the earliest mutually convenient opportunity. We have clients all over the world and are very used to dealing with time zones.
  • Q: I am having to use your "Live Support" system for my reading. Is it private?
  • A: 110% private. You will be in a private chat with your psychic reader.
  • Q: I don't have an instant messenger, what can I do?
  • A: All three instant messengers are available free (and free to use) from their respective web sites - AOL, MSN and Yahoo. Click on the messenger link on those pages and simply follow the download and installation instructions for your computer. If you have real problems installing a messenger we will conduct your reading through our "Live Support" system.
  • Q: I have a question arising from my reading. Do I have to pay again to have it answered?
  • A: If you have a question arising from the reading you received it will be answered free of charge. The time taken to get back to you will depend on the reader's schedule.
  • Q: I have paid for a reading and it's been several hours and I have not been contacted.
  • A: If you have paid during the evening or overnight our time (eastern US) we may not see your PayPal e-mail until the morning. Evenings are our busiest period for online and telephone psychic readings. In addition, please note that if you have a Yahoo e-mail address that our reply may take several hours to reach you or it will get spam filtered. CHECK YOUR SPAM FOLDER. Yahoo e-mail is the pits.
  • Q: I have tried to download and install an instant messenger but I'm having no success. What can I do?
  • A: If we can't help you by e-mail your reading will be done using our "Live Support" system.
  • Q: I sent you the details you requested and it's been several days and I've heard nothing. What's going on?
  • A: Please look in your spam folder. If you can't find it in there make sure that support@psychic-revelation.com is added to your e-mail safe list and then contact us. We will resend your reading.
  • Q: If my reading overruns slightly will I be asked for additional payment?
  • A: No. The reader will finish answering your current question. We do ask though, that you respect the reader's time as he/she will almost certainly have a client waiting and it's unfair to keep them waiting.
  • Q: Once I have paid for my e-mail reading, what happens?
  • A: You will be contacted by e-mail with a request for any additional details needed for your reading.
  • Q: Once I have paid for my online reading, what happens?
  • A: You will be contacted by e-mail with a request for dates and times you are available for your psychic reading.
  • Q: Once I have paid for my telephone reading, what happens?
  • A: You will be contacted by e-mail with a request for dates and times you are available along with the telephone number you wish us to call.
  • Q: What happens if I can't make my appointment or I'm running late?
  • A: Please let us know as soon as possible so that we can reschedule accordingly.
  • Q: What happens if I can't make my appointment or I'm running late and I can't let you know? Will I be charged for wasted time?
  • A: No. We will contact you and reschedule.
  • Q: What happens if I or my reader gets disconnected during my reading?
  • A: Your reader will wait for you to reconnect. Many of us have dial-up to and are well aware of how flaky it can be. Similarly, if your reader gets disconnected please wait for them to come back. Time disconnected does not count as part of your allotted time. You will get what you paid for. If your reader cannot get back online please disconnect from the Internet (if you use dial-up) as they will telephone you.
  • Q: Which instant messengers do you use?
  • A: We use AIM (AOL Instant Messenger), Windows Live Messenger (MSN) and Yahoo Messenger.
  • Q: Why do you have set prices rather than charge by the minute?
  • A: We're not trying to rip you off. With the prices our competitors charge we consider that they are.
  • Q: Do you combine shipping costs?
  • A: Yes. Combined shipping costs are calculated automatically at checkout using live postal rates.
  • Q: Do you track shipments?
  • A: All US shipments are sent delivery confirmation and hence there is a tracking number. International shipments are not tracked due to the prohibitive shipping cost to you.
  • Q: How long will it take for my item to reach me?
  • A: Items that are not handcrafted usually ship within one business day. Handcrafted items such as besoms and wands may take up to a week to ship. The length of time taken to reach you will depend on where you live and which shipping option you chose.
  • Q: How long will my item take to be shipped?
  • A: Most items are shipped within 24 hours. Handcrafted items are often completed to order and so may take longer.
  • Q: I don't want anyone knowing what my package contains. What can I do?
  • A: We appreciate that not everyone lives in a tolerant area. Your package will be marked only with our parent company address: DPH Enterprises. There will be nothing else showing what it is or where it came from. Please Note: If you live outside the USA we have no option but to declare the contents to customs.
  • Q: I live outside the USA and I have paid for one of your items marked "USA only", when will I get it?
  • A: You won't. Your money will be refunded. It's not that we don't want you to buy from us but that particular item is illegal under your country's laws for you to import.
  • Q: I live outside the USA and I want one of your items marked "USA only", why won't you send it?
  • A: Because your country's postal regulations prohibit its importation.
  • Q: I live outside the USA. Will you mark my purchase as a gift so that I don't have to pay any import duty?
  • A: No. We're not prepared to risk our business licence by breaking federal law for you.
  • Q: I see that your checkout system only uses the USPS, can I have it sent some other way?
  • A: No. We only use the USPS.
  • Q: Why are some of your items marked USA only?
  • A: Some items cannot be sent overseas due to postal regulations outside the USA.
  • Q: I get a "Your browser does not support script" message. What does it mean?
  • A: It simply means that your browser does not support javascript, or you do not have javascript turned on. Although it is perfectly viable to navigate Psychic Revelation without using the javascript menu you will find it easier if you enable javascript.
  • Q: What does the "Bookmark" button do?
  • A: It allows you to bookmark or share a particular page. It can be used with: Ask Backflip, BallHype, Bebo, Blinklist, Blogmarks, Delicious, Digg, Diigo, Facebook, Fark, Faves, Favorites, FeedMeLinks, FriendFeed, Furl, Google Bookmarks, Kaboodle, Link-a-Gogo, LinkedIn, Live, Mister Wong, Mixx, Multiply, myAOL, MySpace, Netvouz, Newsvine, Propeller, Reddit, Segnalo, Simpy, Slashdot, Spurl, StumbleUpon, Tailrank, Technorati, Twitter, Yahoo Bookmarks, Yahoo Buzz and Yardbarker.
  • Q: What does the "Live Support" button do?
  • A: It allows you to contact us. If it shows "online" you can speak direct to one of our support staff who will be able to answer any questions you have regarding our services, products and web site. If it shows "offline" it can still be used. Just fill in the required details and it will be e-mailed to us. We will get back to you as quickly as we can.
