St. Cloud Hotel | Many ghosts have been seen here and many strange things occur, everything from a ghostly child playing with her ball in the hallway to disappearing potpourri. The spirit inhabitants apparently like to play games, turning televisions on and off, hiding things from staff. The energy is said to be playful and harmless there. | ||

The Underground Bar | Pictures have been taken there showing orbs of various sizes and brightness. Employees and former employees have reported items being thrown around and broken in a back room when no one is in there. | ||

Imperial Hotel and Casino | The Hotel and Casino is said to be haunted by George Long, one of its earliest managers, who was killed by his mentally ill daughter. A melodrama is performed there also and many actors have reported being touched or pushed by unseen hands. Apparitions have been seen wearing 1800’s period clothing. | ||

Apparitions of children who may have been killed in a fire here in the 1800’s are said to be a regular occurrence, as are sightings of a woman in a wedding gown floating down stairs and across a hallway. At least five exorcisms have reportedly been held here but paranormal activity still continues. This building still provides housing for children. | ||

Baldpate Inn | Apparently this inn is still occupied by its original owners. They are said to not care for smoking (smokers at the hotel on many occasions have reported being unable to keep their cigarettes lit or their packs of cigarettes disappearing into thin air.) The ghost of the wife is apparently seen in the storage room frequently with her feet up reading the bible. The ghosts may have been prohibitionists, also; mixed drinks are said to spill without cause. |
